Cataloochee Valley is a part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park but is located outside of Waynesville in Haywood County.
Please note that Kings Mountain National Military Park is actually located in South Carolina. The main entrance to the park, however, is easily accessed from Interstate 85 in Cleveland County.
